New ICT and Financial Services Apprenticeship Programmes

9 August 2018

Earn and Learn Apprenticeships to Build IT and Finance Talent Teams

These new apprenticeships are designed with industry partners to deliver a skilled team of talent across ICT and finance disciplines. The programmes involve a dual based system of learning which include both on the job and off the job learning. Structured over a two year period apprentices will gain invaluable industry based work experience combined with the theoretical in college learning.

The new apprenticeship programmes offer employers an alternative route to building their talent teams while actively participating in the skills development of their apprentices. The off the job college training is paid for by the state while the employer pays the apprentice an agreed allowance throughout the duration of the apprenticeship programme.

Those who complete the two year ICT Associate Software Apprenticeship will receive a Level 6 award on the National Frameworks Qualification while those completing the International Financial Services programme will receive either a Level 6 or 8 award depending upon which programme they choose.
