The employment rate of recent graduates in Ireland is above the European average, according to new data.
The European Union's statistics office, Eurostat, has revealed the percentage of new graduates in employment in 2017 per country in the EU.
Ireland had a percentage rate of graduate employment of 83.6%
The countries with the highest percentage of graduates in employment were Malta, with 94.5%, followed by Germany with 90.9% and the Netherlands at 90.4%.
The EU average in 2017 stood at 80%.
