All the courses are cutting-edge and are delivered by academic experts in the relevant field.  They are accredited via ECTS and are delivered in a mixture of hybrid, online and on-campus modes.

According to the Irish Immersive Economy Report, commissioned by Skillnet, the Irish Immersive Technology sector is worth over €43 million, with huge future potential in Ireland but a lack of skilled people is the largest barrier to growth. As such these micro-credentials, and the partnership with Skillnet is addressing a very real skills gap that has been formally identified in a new and emerging sector.
