Grants to Upskill Your Employees Briefing 27th February12 February 2020
Talent retention is a daily challenge for employers as we approach full employment in the Mid-West region. To support employers in upskilling or retraining employees there are a range of flexible learning courses available many of which are between 90-100 per cent funded. Employees considering a return to part time flexible learning can choose from a variety of short programmes at both Further and Higher Education level.
Many of the courses offered are funded up to 100% depending on the National Framework Qualification (NFQ) level as the programmes are classified as Springboard courses, while those courses offered at Further Education level attract funding under the Skills to Advance model.
A breakfast briefing for employers will take place on the 27th February in the Limerick Strand hotel at which the Higher Education Authority (HEA) will outline the opportunities for employers to avail of the various funding supports. In addition all the state training providers including University of Limerick, Limerick Institute of Technology and Limerick and Clare Education & Training Board will be present.
