Ireland Ranked 1st in IMD Talent Attraction & Retention Ratings

IMD is one of the world’s leading business schools (based in Switzerland) and produces a range of notable international rankings, including the World Competitiveness Rankings.   They have just released their World Talent Report for 2019 which provides a ranking for all 63 countries that are part of the IMD World Competitiveness Yearbook on a range of metrics across 3 major headings: Investment and development, appeal, and readiness.

The IMD World Talent ranking was released on 18th November. Ireland has been placed 18th out of 63 countries, up 3 places from 21st in 2018, and down from a high of 6th in 2014. However Ireland is first in class when it comes to attracting and more importantly retaining talent which reflects the strong and growing ethos within companies for continually upskilling and developing their talent teams.
