New technologies and online learning will transform the way in which education is delivered to both existing employees and students. The speed of technological innovation will require education providers to adapt to newer learning methodologies to prepare students for job roles of the future.
Employees need to be constantly engaged in order to increase their productivity levels and affinity towards their workplace. If employees feel positive about their contributions and are connected with their work, they are more likely to continue to invest time and energy into the company. With Ireland's economy approaching full employment investing in existing employees to enable new job roles to be completed is vital for companies.
National funding models such as Springboard and Skills to Advance now offer industry the opportunity to share their knowledge in partnership with education and training providers so as to ensure programmes are best suited to meet industry requirements.
Two round table industry sessions are planned the first of which is under the Limerick for IT cluster on Thursday November 14th in Engine Building, Upper Cecil Street between 7.30-9am
