The South East Regional Skills Forum is an initiative of the Department of Education and Skills whereby industry and education providers come together to identify and address current and future skills needs.
The forum meets quarterly and is chaired by Dr Patricia Mulcahy.

The South East Regional Skills Forum Comprises:
IT Carlow, Waterford IT, LIT Tipperary, Tipperary ETB, Waterford/Wexford ETB, Kilkenny/Carlow ETB, Skillnets,
IDA, Enterprise Ireland, Chambers of Commerce, Local Enterprise Offices, IBEC, Construction Industry Federation,
Industry representatives including Unum Ireland.
The Forum members work in partnership to proactively identify skills needs - existing and projected - across the region and put in place collaborative action plans between industry and education/training that build solutions to these so local talent supply is as well aligned to local industry needs as possible.
