Career Traineeship in Digital Sales and Marketing

The Galway Roscommon Education and Training Board have developed a Career Traineeship Programme in Digital Sales and Marketing aimed at supporting SME's/Artisan food companies who have identified the need for support in Digital Sales and Marketing.

This programme is a joint partnership project between Galway Roscommon Education and Training Board (GRETB), Donegal ETB and Louth Meath ETB. GRETB are the lead partner on this project.

GRETB are looking for either sales and marketing companies or companies with a sales and marketing department to partner with them on this Career Traineeship.

This programme will consist of three phases. Phase one will consist of 30 weeks direct learning with phase two and three being 6/7 weeks of work based learning. The first phase of the work based learning will be within a digital sales and marketing company or department  to gain exposure and work experience in a digital sales and marketing environment. The second phase of the work based learning will be with a SME's/Artisan company to put into practice what they have learned from phase one and two.

The programme will commence in April/May 2017 with the work placement expected to be in Autumn 2017.

This is an opportunity for Sales and Marketing companies to support SME's/Artisan companies in their endeavours to get their marketing strategy developed.  By engaging in peer coaching this will offer additional challenges for both the trainee and the host organisation. It is hoped this approach will create employment in this area by providing a pool of qualified people. This in turn may benefit your company as it gives you exposure not only to SME's/Artisan food companies but also qualified people.  GRETB is a training organisation that is a key resource in supporting organisations to upskill their staff through customised training development programmes.
