Development of Enterprise Ireland Strategy 2022-2024 - Have your say!
3 June 2021 Enterprise Ireland has commenced work on the development of an ambitious vision to 2030 and a multi-year strategy which will chart the course for the growth and global competitiveness of Irish industry to 2030

Enterprise Ireland is the government organisation responsible for the development and growth of Irish enterprises in world markets. They work in partnership with Irish enterprises to help them start, grow, innovate and win export sales in global markets. Enterprise Ireland supported companies make a hugely important contribution to economic activity across all parts of the country, recording employment of over 221,000 in 2019, with exports exceeding €25bn and expenditure in the Irish economy of €29bn.
Enterprise Ireland has recently commenced work on the development of its new multi-year strategy. This will build upon the 2017-2020 Strategy Build Scale, Expand Reach, and our 2021 Strategic Priorities, developed in response to the immediate challenges created by Covid 19.
The priorities identified in this one-year plan were to:
Strengthen Irish enterprise to respond to market shocks and disruption in response to COVID-19 and Brexit.
Drive transformational change and the pace of innovation, transitioning to new business models, digitalisation, and the low carbon economy.
Scale and grow the export and start-up base, across regions and sectors and grow companies of all sizes
As part of the strategy development process, Enterprise Ireland wishes to engage with key stakeholders in order to assist in developing a Vision for 2030, which is robustly informed and ambitious, and provides the direction for our multi-year strategy from 2022. They believe that gaining your insights into the future needs of the economy and Irish enterprise, and reviewing Enterprise Ireland’s role in addressing these needs, will be a critical input into this process.
