DIGI ECO

Transitioning to a Green Economy requires a workforce with the right skills and capabilities to undertake new job tasks. The importance of sustainable development and the accelerated shift to low carbon economy will impact across all industry sectors and occupations.

The objective of DigiEco is to instill cultural and behavioural change within organisations. Developing the digital capacity of employees will help implement new work processes that contribute towards greener and cleaner working environments.

On completion they will have the necessary digital skills and knowledge to undertake a Green audit, implement appropriate changes to work practices and review progress.

In addition learners will be informed of further opportunities available to help them implement best practice behavioural change in specific areas such as renewable energy and the circular economy.

This even is organised by West Regional Skills Forum, together with Galway & Roscommon Education & Training Board
