Time to nominate the great apprenticeship employers you know! Generation Apprenticeship Employer of the Year awards 2022

We are looking forward to receiving your nomination(s) for our fourth Generation Apprenticeship Employer of the Year awards, closing date Tuesday 01 November 2022 via awards@nao.ie using the attached nomination form. The form and all information is also available on apprenticeship.ie.

There is a particular focus this year on micro and small (less than 50 employees) companies who are using apprenticeship as a talent pipeline and who deserve recognition for their commitment and innovation.

In addition we want to celebrate companies of all sizes (micro, SME and large) who are employing apprentices and leading the way on diversity in the workplace.

During the month of November we will be building communication assets around the nominated companies in each region. We look forward to working with you in profiling each outstanding company nominated. The employer awards will be announced at a lunch event on Thursday 08 December, further details to follow.

Warmest thanks for all of your support on this year's Generation Apprenticeship Apprentice of the Year Awards. We are reaching the finishing line and with the 450 audience capacity already reached, the awards ceremony on 25 October has proven to be one of the hottest tickets in town. We are delighted that our apprentices have the opportunity to share this special awards experience with so many colleagues in industry, public service, consortia and social partners.

We look forward to collaborating with you over the coming weeks in making sure our 187 apprentice nominees get the public recognition they so richly deserve. Please lend your support in sharing and reposting video material released this week and next with your network of contacts locally, regionally and nationally.
