West Regional Skills Forum Annual Meeting
1 November 2022 West Regional Skills Forum Annual Meeting
West Regional Skills Forum Annual Meeting was held on the 27th October at PorterShed, Galway. McDara Hosty guided us through this session which was full of fun and interaction.
"A Network of Regional Skills Fora was created as part of the Government’s National Skills Strategy and provides an opportunity for employers and the education and training system to work together to meet the emerging skills needs of their regions. More structured engagement on the skills agenda and the work of the Fora will contribute to better outcomes for learners and support enterprise development"
The Forum members worked on the below questions:
- How can we encourage more sharing of regional insights & data by members in 2023?
- How can we implement more effectively together in 2023?
- How can we co-promote more effectively?
- What key collaborations should we focus on for 2023?
- Who needs to be added to the forum for 2023?
- Any changes needed to RSFW for 2023?
