WEST REGIONAL SKILLS FORUM MEETING - 5TH OCTOBER 2021

We are happy to report on another fruitful session of the West Regional Skills Forum. Members answered a series of questions in relation to the skills needs in the West of Ireland. This information will be conveyed to the Higher Education Authority and it will impact the funding of courses through Springboard +.

Kathrin Koedderitz, the Chair of the Sales Professionals Network, gave an overview of the last few month's of the Network's activities. At the end of August, the group organised an in-person Networking Breakfast on the Salthill Prom. A well attended webinar, Networking for Sales  with expert speaker Kingsley Aikins from the Networking Institute, took place in September, via Zoom. Frank Cashman gave an overview of the Manufacturing Excellence Network's activities. The Group is in the process of commissioning two pieces of research.
